FROM NOTHINGNESS TO EXISTENCE OR VICE VERSA

COMMENTARY FROM VAYETZEH 

And the angel of God said unto me in the dream: Jacob; and I said: Here am I. .... for I have seen all what Laban does to you. I am the God of Beit-el, where you anointed a pillar, where you did a vow unto Me. Now rise up, get out of this land, and return to the land of your birth.' 

And God came to Laban the Aramean in a dream of the night, and said unto him: 'Take heed to yourself that you do not speak to Jacob either good or bad.' 

Jacob says to Laban: If the God of my father Abraham, and the Fear of Isaac; if the Eternal had not been on my side, surely now you would have sent me away empty handed. God has seen my affliction and the labour of my hands, and gave me justice last night.' (Genesis 31).

GOD IS EVERYWHERE – HE SEES ALL, HE HEARS ALL, NOTHING IS HIDDEN FROM HIM 

Undoubtedly all human creators take from the already existing raw material that God has made in order for them to make or create something, no human being on earth can boast about taking nothingness and turning it into something. Because the rule in our reality is that one needs raw material to make or create everything. 

However, as my Chabad Rabbi puts it, unlike us, HaShem is the only one who can take nothingness and turn it into something. 

ON THE OTHER HAND: IT IS WRITTEN THAT HASHEM RENEW "MAASSEH BERESHIT" MEANING; GOD CONTINUES TO CREATE OR MAINTAINS THE WHOLE CREATION CONTINUALLY. 

IT IS ALSO WRITTEN THAT THROUGH THE PROCESS OF TZIMTZUM HASHEM CREATED EMPTINESS OR NOTHINGNESS (WITHDRAWING HIMSELF), MAKING ROOM FOR THE CREATION, AND THEN HE TOOK GODLY SPARKS OUT OF HIMSELF AND WITH THAT HE MADE THE WHOLE CREATION WITH ALL THE VARIETY MATTERS (RAW MATERIALS), IN THE HEAVENS AND ON THE EARTH. 

So then God needed to first vacate or create nothingness in order to create something with his Godly Sparks in that nothingness. 

Because the Tzimtzum results in the "empty space" (The Nothingness) in which spiritual and physical Worlds and ultimately, free will can exist, God is often referred to as "Ha-Makom" (Place); because in reality everything is in God.

NOTHING REALLY EXIST, ONLY GOD EXIST; THEREFORE THE WHOLE WORLD AND THE UNIVERSE; SUN MOON AND STARS; EARTH, WATER, ANIMATE, INANIMATE THINGS, LIVING BEINGS, HUMANS AND ANIMALS ARE ALL GODLY SPARKS, NOTHING REALLY EXIST INDEPENDENTLY FROM HASHEM. 

The Rabbi also encourages us to view the creation God’s way: From Yesh (Existence) to Nothingness instead of from Nothingness to Yesh. 

Shivity HaShem Tamid Lenegdi, HaShem is always in front of me (or I am always in the presence of HaShem). 

HaShem Fills the heavens and the earth at all time. 

There are no place in the entire creation where HaShem is not.

Can anyone hide somewhere that HaShem will not find him?
